A large Victorian 15ct yellow gold amethyst and seed pearl brooch. The stunning brooch handmade with a rub set oval mixed cut amethyst weighing 80 carats of a medium dark violet purple hue of very good colour quality. Forty two button shape silver cream pearls in a millegrain scalloped edge border surrounding the amethyst. Dimensions 40.7 x 32.6mm. The brooch could be converted for use as a pendant.
