A beautiful handmade 15ct/9ct and silver opal, ruby and diamond brooch. The central bezel set cabochon white opal weighing 10.30 carats with a lovely play of red, green and blue patterns. A border of 8 grain set natural rubies totalling 1.10 carats of very good quality and no heat treatment. Twenty four grain set rose cut diamonds totalling .24 carats, H -K colour, SI-I2 clarity. Dimensions: 29.3 x 23.8mm. A hinged pin and roller catch. A wonderful Victorian brooch to wear on a blazer or shirt.
